Support for Hamas is Not anti-Semitism

It is about the challenge and insult to today’s new secular religion which is embraced by much of the Third World, the Colored World, the Socialist World the UN, i.e., the Progressive World. The key beliefs of this universal faith are democracy and human equality. Its nemesis is the Nazi creed that one Aryan is worth a dozen Frenchies, a score of Pollacks,  and any number of Untermenschen.

The trouble began innocuously soon after WW2. In 1948,  600,000 Jews, many of them survivors of the death camps, were invaded by the 5 armies of 30 million neighboring Arabs who promised to crush them in a way that would make even Genghis Kahn tremble. Against expectations that vow and those 50 to 1 odds failed, and that has continued.

Israel’s 8 million Jews keep prevailing over today’s 400 + million Arabs, not just on the battlefield, but as farmers, technicians, artists and inventors, scholars and scientists, businessmen and entertainers; and not least, in the practice of a genuine democracy and an honest commitment to human equality.

The Israelis and Jews in short, by showing their mettle and by surviving repeated efforts to extirpate them, are challenging the high minded ideals of the Progressive faith. This is why so much of all the segments of the Progressive world speak of Israel as the enemy of humanity and tacitly share Hamas’ genocidal ambition.

And let us not forget how across much of the last 2  millennia the Jews have been despised and savaged for mistrusting and not embracing  Christendom’s and Islam’s teachings of brotherhood and love. In short, we Jews and Gentiles have been here before.
